Elite Cameron to co-host open house in Canada
The open house in Canada will focus on Elite Cameron’s UK-based UV hot melt technology and will be co-hosted with adhesive supplier GMerix.
Elite Cameron will co-host a UV hot melt open house with GMerix on November 18–19 at its new test facility in Laval, Quebec, supported by adhesive supplier Henkel and UV curing specialist GEW.
The UK manufacturer’s HM750UV machine will run demonstrations throughout the two-day event, with technical presentations from the supporting companies. Visitors will also be able to tour the GMerix facility and discuss the technology with UV hot melt specialists.
The demonstration line incorporates real-time UV dose measurement to control curing. The facility allows converters to trial UV hot melt technology and compare it with conventional adhesive and solvent-based systems before committing to capital investment.
Matt Chamberland, VP of sales and operations at Elite Cameron, said: ‘We’re seeing significant growth in the UV Hot Melt market, and with GMerix’s expertise, we can take a concept and prove its merit in a controlled environment, making an already capable machine even more productive.’
The Elite Cameron and GMerix partnership serves the pressure-sensitive and specialty materials sector, focusing on helping converters move from product development to commercial production.
Chamberland added: ‘The Elite Cameron/GMerix partnership is focused on delivering high-quality, efficient, and reliable adhesive solutions to the pressure-sensitive and specialty materials sector, allowing converters to move more quickly from product development to commercial production. We view it as a valuable industry resource.’
