Grafivedras installs Hontec label finisher

Hontec has completed the installation of its MPX350 multi-purpose label finishing machine at Grafivedras, a printing company based in Portugal, further strengthening its presence in the European label printing market. 

The newly installed MPX350 is specifically configured for the production of high-quality wine labels, integrating multiple printing enhancement and converting processes into one versatile finishing platform. 

The machine features flatbed hot stamping, rotary screen printing, rotary die-cutting, flatbed embossing and die-cutting, and slitting units, allowing Grafivedras to achieve a wide range of premium decorative effects and finishing applications. 

With its modular design, the MPX350 combines multiple finishing processes into a single production line, enabling printers to produce sophisticated wine labels with metallic foil effects, tactile screen varnishes, intricate embossing and precise die-cutting. 

Designed for flexibility and efficiency, Hontec's MPX series allows label converters to customize machine configurations according to their production requirements, while offering the possibility of integrating additional modules as business needs evolve.
