Omet iFlex to print films and multilayer labels at Labelexpo India

Italian label press manufacturer Omet will demonstrate chill drums for printing filmic applications as well as a peal and seal unit for printing multi-layer labels on a 10-color iFlex 370mm flexo label printing press on the show floor. The machine will also be equipped with cold foil, delam, relam, web turnbar, sheeter conveyor and two die-stations.

Weldon Celloplast has installed three Omet iFlex presses in the country. Pawandeep Sahni, director at Weldon Celloplast, said: ‘This press is great for label printers looking at achieving low cost of production with minimum resources. It is one of the smartest flexo printing presses in its class and have performance features which are unmatched even by some of the most high-end presses in the market.’

Other exhibits at Weldon Celloplast’s stand will include a range of flexible and magnetic dies from Lartec, Spilker’s MicroGap anvil for micro gap adjustments to enable fine die-cutting and enhancing die life, and Luster inspection technology.

Brotech Graphic from China will also exhibit a DL330 die-cutting machine suitable for in-mold labels, label finishing, converting, and quality inspection.
