Operating under the brand AFP, Da Rocha has an abundance of knowledge of the flexographic print industry, according to Sandon. He founded the first ever flexo industry college in France back in 1993. In recent years, he went on to perform senior technical roles in Morrocco, Switzerland, France, Portugal and Spain for commercial print houses, ink manufacturers Sericol and a European anilox supplier.

Founded in 2004 Sandon Global manufactures and refurbishes anilox rolls, sleeves and gravure cylinders from its specialist UK engineering facility in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Sandon Global export manager Stuart Mitchell commented: ‘Carlos is a welcome addition to our distribution network. And as an approved reseller of Sandon Global products and services his excellent print knowledge will be invaluable as we build our brand overseas.

‘Carlos’ ability to speak five languages is also a huge asset in an international, highly technical market place.’

Da Rocha said: ‘Sandon Global has a fantastic reputation for quality, precision and delivering results. I am thrilled to be representing it in the French market and look forward to developing exciting new projects that will see Sandon continue to push the boundaries of anilox performance and quality standards.’
