Evonik expands IMCD distribution deal to US

Evonik has expanded its distribution partnership with IMCD to cover the US, extending an existing arrangement that already spans Brazil and Canada, to bring its Visiomer Specialty Methacrylates portfolio to American formulators.

Under the agreement, IMCD will distribute Evonik's Visiomer range across applications including coatings, adhesives and sealants, construction, composites and polymer synthesis.

'This expanded partnership further strengthens our ability to support formulators with high-performance Visiomer Specialty Methacrylates and dedicated application know-how,' said Muge Tamkan, vice president coatings and construction, Americas at IMCD. 'We look forward to building on this strong foundation and continuing to create value for customers across the US market.'

Joao Souza, Evonik's head of specialty methacrylates for the Americas region, added that the expanded partnership with IMCD will allow the company to serve its customers more effectively and reinforce its position in the US market.
