J+S to overhaul offset and UV ink production

German printing inks specialist Jänecke+Schneemann is to overhaul its production of offset and UV ink by constructing a new facility in Hannover.

Jänecke+Schneemann said the new facility is one of the most significant investments in the company’s history, with a similar investment already carried out several years ago for the production of flexo inks. The new facility for offset and UV ink production will be completed within the next two years.

Jänecke+Schneemann will talk to the trade about the new facility in Hannover as part of its presence at Drupa 2012, where the company will also showcase developments in LED UV, HiReactive and low migration inks, as well as analytics. The Jänecke+Schneemann stand at Drupa 2012 will be 25 percent bigger than at previous installments of the show.

General manager Christian Jänecke (pictured, above) said: ‘The entire strategy of Jänecke+Schneemann is based on adding value to product and service. Of course we cannot totally do without our bulk business, but our management targets are strongly focused on healthy growth with technologically advanced products and in stable markets.’
