Beiler Printing installs Epson SurePress digital label press

Designed for prime label converters and commercial printers, the Epson SurePress L-4033AW is a seven-color inkjet digital label press with white ink that makes high-quality, short-run label printing easier and more efficient, even on clear and metallic substrates.

‘We’ve worked with numerous machines and have outgrown them in a short amount of time, which is why we decided to upgrade,’ said Beiler. ‘Purchasing the SurePress has been a wonderful investment for us. We’ve definitely been able to increase workflow efficiency by running it overnight, which requires little to no labor.’

Driving the SurePress L-4033AW is the included Wasatch RIP and print management software. The Wasatch SoftRIP is a RIP solution designed to save time and money by including color management options, layout features, workflow tools, variable data printing, and contour cutting, all while producing excellent quality color.

‘We have worked with the Wasatch RIP on other machines before, and it’s definitely no surprise that the software works great with the SurePress,’ Beiler said. ‘The biggest feature for us is the spot color replace, which speeds up production significantly. We are really happy with this software.’
