Etiket Nederland installs fifth press with third MPS

Etiket Nederland has installed its third MPS flexo press, with a 420mm-wide EF 430 now operating at the Dutch label printer based in Alkmaar.

Founded in 1995, Etiket Nederland is a specialist in self-adhesive labels, both blank and full-color up to eight colors. The company’s product portfolio includes EC, booklet, sandwich and linerless labels.

The 5-color MPS EF 430 flexo press with a web width of 420mm and a maximum speed of 200m/min was selected to expand Etiket Nederland’s machine park to a total of five printing presses. Also integrated on the press is a new AB Graphic Vectra turret rewinder for in-line finishing of labels. 

Already running full production, the EF press has impressed Etiket Nederland director Theo Noordman, who said: ‘Etiket Nederland is a rapidly growing organization. The purchase of our third MPS press has already proven a positive addition to our printing machinery. With this new press, we have increased our productivity and can extend additional flexibility to our customers.’ 

In February 2015, Etiket Nederland joined forces with Vila Etiketten to combine expertise in flexo and digital printing.
