Excel Graphics buys Lombardi Synchroline 430

Shashwat and Shivam Bansal, partners at Excel Graphics based in New Delhi, said: ‘We chose to go with Lombardi for its technology and service offered by Vinsak. We will print self-adhesive labels, in-mold labels and flexible packaging on this press.’

The 17in-wide 8-color all UV press is equipped with features including lamination, cold foil, turnbar, relam, delam, sheeter, conveyer, slitter, two die-cutting stations and an option of 2-color printing on the back side of the label.

Nicola Lombardi, marketing manager at Lombardi, said: ‘We are working very well in last few years in the Indian market. This is our first show with the press at this trade exhibition. This press has been very well appreciated by the Indian market and we are very proud of it. India is a good market and appreciates receiving this quality of press. Our press is made in Italy with best European components.

‘Lombardi has sold three presses in India in 2016 and we expect to close the year with more orders.’

Neeraj Sharma, executive director at Vinsak, added: ‘Customers are comparing Lombardi with top end presses in the market. We are focused on dealing in machines that offer value added features and are expecting two more presses to come in the current financial year.’

Of the show, Sharma added: ‘We expect to get the return on investment with more people showing interest in various machines we have displayed at Labelexpo India this year.’

Excel Graphics is evaluating further investment in variable data printing, slitting and inspection machines during the show.
