Label Impressions installs 13in and 17in Nilpeter presses

Label Impressions, a label and flexible packaging printer in California, has expanded its operations into a new 30,000 sq ft manufacturing space supported by the installation of two presses from Nilpeter.

The two additional 10-color Nilpeter presses, in 13in and 17in widths, will be used to assist in the development of unique label and pouch products such as its ‘softscreen’ print – a low cost alternative to expensive screen printing. The new 17in FB-4200 Nilpeter servo press is equipped with full UV curing, auto register and multi-web capabilities, so opening up new and emerging markets to Label Impressions.

‘This expansion has been in the works for several years and is part of our long term strategic plan,’ said Jeff Salisbury, Label Impressions president and CEO. ‘The additional space will house our finishing operation, allow us to install new, wider web flexible package printing and converting equipment, and a digital label printing press.’
