Lemorau sells first unit into Morocco

Lemorau has sold its first machine in Morocco, an ICR3 slitter rewinder and inspection machine, with Casablanca-based customer KT SYS citing the quality-price ratio as being key to its investment decision.

KT SYS has specified a 330mm-wide Lemorau ICR3 with a host of extras

The ICR3 for KT SYS has a 330mm web width, servo drive technology, dual rewinding, air trim removal, web guiding, a maximum operating speed of 200m/min (656ft/min), job memories, flag sensor, paper break sensor and internet remote assistance.

The machine has also been specified with the optional Tube Scan Digital Strobe ++330 print inspection system from BST that allows the detection of fine print defects, register defects and color variations, as well as missing labels.

KT SYS has been active in the label market for more than a decade with a leading position in the industrial label market.

Tarik Elhariry, KT SYS general manager, said: ‘We have chosen to acquire one Lemorau ICR3 inspection machine because it is a machine with the best quality-price ration on the market, and also from the echoes that we had heard in relation to Lemorau and the availability of after-sales service from the company.’

Travagliati Lotario, based in Verona, was recently confirmed as the first in Italy to install a Lemorau ICR3.
