Omet installs Polish offset press

Omet has installed a Varyflex V2 Offset press at Drukarnia Jaslo in Poland for the production of high-end flexible packaging. The converter currently operates with solvent-base CI flexo machines.

Omet installs Varyflex Offset V2 in Poland

The sale was made by Omet’s Polish agent WRH Global Polska.

Commented Sergio Villa, Omet area manager, ‘Drukarnia Jaslo decided to buy a web offset press to respond to the increasing demand for short runs and high quality products: the lower cost of pre-press and offset plates compared to other printing technologies, guarantees them higher profitability.’.

The Varyflex V2 670 features six offset UV units and one final flexo group for varnishing.

Drukarnia is located in the pre-Carpathians, a mountainous area in the south of Poland. This is the 20th press installation by Omet in Poland, including another similarly configured press installed two years ago.
