The press can print on paper and polypropylene at a speed significantly higher than 90m/min, with changeover in a few minutes with a patented mechanical system that also allows the print cylinder to be replaced without requiring any changes to the supports.

Waste levels have also been reduced owing to the Synchroline’s quick start-up procedure. This supports Riber Etichette’s efforts to be an environmentally conscious company. It uses FSC-certified paper, and is associated with the UPM Raflatac RafCycle program for the recovery of waste products.

Paolo Rigato, co-owner of Riber Etichette, said: ‘We knew Lombardi by name but we saw the company first at Labelexpo Europe 2015 at its booth. We then wanted to learn more about the new Synchroline with all the technical innovations aimed at productivity.

‘We consider this machine the flagship press in all respects for a company like ours, which in technology has always chosen the best, not only in the press, but also in quality controls to ensure a 100 percent reliability.’
