Sai Com Codes makes double Nilpeter investment

Sai Com Codes is to install two servo-driven Nilpeter FB-3300S flexo presses, one each in Sonepat and Guwahati, supporting the companies’ growth in India and witnessed at Labelexpo India 2016.

Some of the features of the 8-color presses chosen by the company include cold foil, turnbar, delam, relam, automatic plate positioning, chill drums, pre-register and re-register.

The deal, confirmed at Labelexpo India 2016, follows Sai Com Codes’ opening of a second plant in Guwahati, as reported here.

A Nilpeter house, Sai Com Codes has a total of four presses installed in Sonepat with the fifth to be shipped in January 2017; the second new press is going to the plant in Guwahati.

Harish Gupta, managing director at Sai Com Codes, said: ‘We have all Nilpeter presses and we intend to continue buying Nilpeter presses because we are happy with the performance. Nilpeter and Sai Com Codes are growing together in the country.’

Jakob Landberg, sales and marketing director at Nilpeter, added: ‘Sai Com Codes is one of our biggest customers in India. We expect to soon ship a Nilpeter press manufactured in Denmark to the company as well. We are very pleased with their growth in the region.’

Talking of Labelexpo India, he added: ‘India is a strategic market for us and we put a lot of energy to prepare for Labelexpo India every two years and will continue to support the show in the time to come. We expect good footfall of label printers on the next two days with some serious enquiries coming our way.’

At Labelexpo India 2016, Nilpeter is producing pressure-sensitive labels with cold foil, as well as metallic gold ink printed in gravure. The company is also demonstrating 2-ply coupon labels, as well as printing shrink sleeves converted with shrinkable cold foil with the last white printed in gravure.
