UNI Packaging makes commitment to digital

UNI Packaging has installed a second HP Indigo 20000 digital press as part of a move to further increase the capacity of its digital print offering, and has plans for a third digital line.

UNI Packaging introduced Digiflex in 2012

UNI Packaging launched its branded digital print offering, Digiflex, in 2012. An investment in an HP Indigo WS6600 was followed by its first HP Indigo 20000 last year. UNI Packaging said the addition of a second HP Indigo 20000 digital line reinforces the company’s ‘market leading capabilities’ in digitally printed flexible packaging.

‘Quality output and high-performance technology are critical factors that drive the success of our business and the value we bring to our customers,’ said Franck Caresmel, responsible for group business development at UNI Packaging. ‘We are excited by the business opportunities that we are able to pursue with the HP Indigo 20000, and look forward to advancing our role in the flexible packaging digital revolution.’

UNI Packaging is planning a third digital line to be installed later this year.
