Vert opens Colorado digital packaging facility

Vert has launched a digitally enabled packaging manufacturing facility in Longmont, Colorado, powered by HP Indigo digital print technology, bringing stand-up pouch, roll stock and label production together under one roof for food, beverage, supplement, pet and lifestyle CPG brands.

The facility produces stand-up pouches, roll stock, labels, stick packs, sachets, folding cartons, child-resistant certified packaging and other custom formats, targeting brands that need short runs, rapid artwork changes and faster replenishment cycles alongside larger-volume programs. Vert said the facility was designed to extend digital printing advantages beyond traditional short-run applications into medium and longer-run production.

The Longmont operation anchors Vert's hybrid manufacturing model, combining domestic digital production with a global manufacturing network for programs where volume or economics favor conventional production. The company developed its operating model serving regulated cannabis markets before expanding into the broader lifestyle CPG market.
