One of the top three commercial printers in north Vietnam, Phu Thinh Printing, has invested in a new 6-color Roland 700 Evolution with coating module press which will be operational later this year. The company aims to expand into the label and packaging field and focus on the growing domestic market for plastic and foil printing.
Phu Thinh Printing was founded in 2005 and specializes in the printing of books, magazines, catalogues and calendars. It has more than 150 staff.
‘We strive to provide customers with high-quality products at reasonable prices, and in a timely manner, to suit their individual needs,’ said Tran Đuc Phuong, director and co-founder.
In order to meet the requirements of customers in the growing market for plastic and foil printing, which requires UV LED, the company decided to invest in the Roland 700 Evolution press.
Tran Đuc Phuong continued: ‘We believe the world’s latest printing technology is crucial for us to satisfy customer demands for diverse creative products. We are proud to be the first company to own a Roland 700 Evolution in Vietnam. We are also a pioneer in Vietnam for UV LED drying.’
The features of the Roland 700 Evolutionare well-suited to label printing, with a printing speed of 16,000 sheets/hour, combi-inks with three LED Interdecks and UV LED EOP; a SmartCard printing performance package with ink blowing devices, additional washing line and TripleFlow inking system.
Several QuickChange functions together with PressPilot Visualization, ColorPilot Smart and SpectroDrive minimize make-ready time and guarantee higher performance and more efficient quality control for high-quality label printing jobs.
‘In addition to Manroland Sheetfed's established reputation in the packaging industry, the Roland 700 Evolution has so many advanced features to add value to high-quality packaging and label print. With UV LED, this new machine has convinced us to further expand our printing operations on all types of flexible packaging. The Roland 700 Evolution not only gives us more scope in the packaging sector but will strengthen our existing business of printing books, magazines and catalogues,’ Tran Đuc Phuong concluded.
With this new investment Phu Thinh Printing will be much more flexible in its diversification program and at the same time increase its competitiveness and profitability.
