Jetrion, LLC announces executive leadership team

Jetrion, LLC, a new global company powered by Flint Ink to provide a full range of industrial inkjet products, services, and custom printing solutions, announces its executive leadership team. New president of Jetrion, Dr. Kenneth Stack, former vice president/general manager of Flint Ink’s Digital Division says, ‘The Jetrion team has been strategically assembled to bring together a broad set of experience in the practical application of digital printing for commercial and industrial markets. This team will add value to our customers’ businesses by developing and delivering application-specific products and services.’

‘Team members have some of the deepest knowledge and experience in the digital printing industry. Coupled with Flint Ink’s resources, the Jetrion team will provide an integrated suite of continuous inkjet and drop-on-demand products and services to OEM manufacturers, printers, and converters worldwide,’ adds Stack.

The leadership team includes Gary Swager, vice president of Integrated Solutions; Paul Edwards, technical director; Sean Skelly, director of product management; Dean Haertel, director of sales & marketing, Jason Oliver, director of sales & marketing of Integrated Solutions; Brad Scott, manufacturing manager; and Thomas Im, controller/finance. Dedicated research, sales, and technical personnel complete the staff of Jetrion.

Jetrion was created to meet the growing demand for inkjet integration services, inkjet-enabling technologies, and custom, high performance inks in the commercial printing and converting industries.

Leadership team
Dr. Kenneth Stack- president
Prior to Jetrion, Dr. Kenneth Stack was responsible for direct global market and product development for Flint Ink’s Digital Division. He came to Flint Ink from Eastman Kodak where he held several positions in digital printing. Prior to joining Eastman Kodak, Stack founded MMH Technologies, Inc., a full service consulting, training, and research firm specializing in industrial digital printing. Currently Stack has 6 US patents with 2 others under review.

Gary Swager- vice president of Integrated Solutions
Gary Swager oversees the sales, marketing, engineering, and the manufacture of custom integrated solutions. Swager came to Jetrion with over 30 years of senior management experience, specializing in digital technology, product development, market analysis, and executive level business management. Over the years, Swager has held management positions such as program manager at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center, general manager of Versatec, and COO of Interactive, Inc.

Paul Edwards- technical director
Paul Edwards develops ink platforms, technology and strategy, product qualification, and resource allocation. With 19 years in the industry, Edwards has acquired a commanding knowledge of ink formulation requirements for DOD, CIJ, and Binary inkjet printers. Before joining Jetrion, Edwards was a fluids group manager at Domino UK LTD., Cambridge, where he was responsible for the global management of strategic fluid development and analytical patent and product support.

Sean Skelly- director of product management
Sean Skelly is charged with analyzing the marketplace for new product ideas and implementing and managing the global positioning for all of Jetrion’s products. Prior to Jetrion, Skelly worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 18 years. Skelly has an extensive background in strategic product management and commercialization, and has led worldwide launches of inkjet printing systems, inks, media and software.

Dean Haertel- director of sales
With nine years of industry experience, Dean Haertel has acquired a best-in-class knowledge of inkjet printing and packaging technologies. Haertel is charged with the global organization of Jetrion’s sales force, development and implementation of market strategies, and driving global sales. Haertel joins the Jetrion executive leadership team from Xaar America where he was sales manager for the Americas.

Jason Oliver- director of sales & marketing of Integrated Solutions
Jason Oliver is responsible for overall corporate positioning, branding and identity. Oliver spent two years as director of Scitex Digital Printing’s Systems Group prior to joining Jetrion . In this position, Oliver had global responsibility for the company's VersaMark™ product line. In addition, Oliver was a founding principal and marketing director for the Digital Label Alliance, LLC, marketing director for Chromas Technologies, corporate marketing systems manager for Didde Corporation, and market development manager for Webtron Corporation.

Brad Scott- manufacturing manager
Brad Scott handles the manufacturing and delivery of all digital ink products, the implementation of statistical process control, and the scale-up of new products from the lab to production in the company’s ISO-certified manufacturing center. Prior to his new appointment, Scott was a senior group leader managing the development and start-up of new dispersion and wax manufacturing processes and optimizing quality production for both domestic and international branches of Flint Ink. Scott has been with Flint Ink for the last 17 years.

Thomas Im- controller/finance
Thomas Im directs all the financial and accounting operations for Jetrion.
