K&B delegates visit Herma

During a recent annual technical meeting of the Kocher + Beck team, which was attended by members from USA, UK and Russia held at the company’s German headquarters, the team were invited to visit Herma and see first hand this excellent facility manufacturing high quality self adhesive materials.

Herma has an excellent long term working relationship with K+B. Herma managing director Dr Thomas Baumgärtner welcomed K+B for a meeting to discuss the company’s products, the general economic situation and industry trends. There followed a tour of this semi-automated factory with its impressive coating and laminating machines and automated stock warehousing.

The automation continues through to palletizing and despatch, all together a very impressive installation.

The excellent cooperation between Herma and K+B was in evidence further in the Herma Label division where numerous GapMasters and K+B flexible dies are used. The K&B party also dropped in on the digital label production, the production of products for the school business and mounting products.
