3C! Packaging has received full certification of its offset printing operations to become a Walgreens certified print packaging supplier following assessment by Graphic Measures International (GMI).

To earn the quality assurance seal, 3C! Packaging passed a stringent program administered by GMI, an organization that monitors and validates suppliers’ required process controls and ability to deliver consistent results for its vendors. The designation enables Walgreens’ private label suppliers to use 3C! Packaging for printed packaging of Walgreens private branded products.

GMI granted the certification following a comprehensive audit of 3C! Packaging’s operations. Several categories were tested for compliance, including pre-press, plating, press, post-press operations, quality control and training. 3C! Packaging demonstrated full compliance and performance across all analyzed categories.

‘Quality and consistency of production has always been at the core of 3C! Packaging’s services,’ said Joey Rae Elphick, vice president of marketing and business development. ‘We are proud to be able to announce our full certification in the Walgreens Packaging Quality Assurance Program.’

With more than 8,200 pharmacies nationwide, Walgreens is the largest drug retailing chain in the US, offering a full range of pharmacy products, over-the-counter health and wellness products, and consumer goods.
