One outstanding example of this is a new state-of-the-art 450 sqm production facility in Malaysia aimed at supporting the growing business and educational demands of its customers.

The new technology center, to be sited in Shah Alam, Malaysia, will focus on major development of labels and packaging applications as well as on document and commercial printing applications.

One highlight will be the company's flagship 3500 press for label and packaging converters who have expressed a desire for a wider web width, as well as top speeds.

The announcement comes close on the heels of the decision by Xeikon to install a strong sales channel network in Australia supported by its wide range of digital systems. The new Malaysia technology center, it says, will allow it further to improve its service offering in the region.
