ASPA invites authentication specialists to be members

Authentication Solution Providers' Association (ASPA), formerly known as known as Hologram Manufacturers Association of India (HoMAI), is participating at Labelexpo India 2014 to spread more awareness about the association and invite authentication technology providers to join the association.

Founded in 1998, it is a self-regulated non-profit organization of authentication specialists globally, and recently relaunched as ASPA after serving the market as the Hologram Manufacturers Association of India (HoMA)I.

Manoj Kochar, ASPA president, said: ‘Brands are increasingly adopting anti-counterfeiting solutions to grow their business. Authentication solution industry will take a huge leap.’ 

With a total of 38 members, the association is looking at generating more awareness about the authentication solutions in the country and overseas markets. It has organized several seminars and conferences in association with FICCI, CII and has been working closely with Indian Institute of Packaging to help grow the labels and packaging industry. Kochar said, ‘ASPA works closely with world-leading peers and authorities such as International Hologram Manufacturers Association (IHMA), Counterfeit Intelligence Bureau (CIB) and Interpol. Association’s members protect over 10,000 brands worldwide through the identification of genuine products and documents. ‘

Some of ASPA’s members include prominent names such as Holoflex, Kurz, Uflex, Kaygee Loparex, K G Papers, Henkel, DeLaRue, amongst others.
