AzimutPrint expands capacity with second MPS press
MPS has installed an EF 430 flexo press at Russian label printer AzimutPrint. The EF press, a second MPS flexo press for AzimutPrint, will primarily print industrial, food and commodity self-adhesive labels. AzimutPrint previously purchased an MPS EF 410 flexo press with 10 colors and Automated Print Control (APC), which prints and converts oil, pharmaceutical and cosmetic labels.
AzimutPrint’s second EF press is equipped with 7 colors, UV dryers, a die-station, matrix rewinder, web video and a low tension control rewind system.
‘Exceptional’ after-sales service and support from local MPS agent Ogard led to AzimutPrint opting for a second MPS flexo press investment. AzimutPrint’s printing manager Artem Volkov comments: ‘Our first MPS EF press proved to be a versatile printing press: stable print quality, flexibility and performance are a given on this press. Even when running more challenging print jobs, we achieved optimum production results. We also valued the availability of local sales and service support from Ogard, who is always quick to respond with any advice or assistance we need. It just simply made sense to invest once again in MPS.’
Founded in 1996, AzimutPrint specializes in the production of self-adhesive labels, wraparound labels, carton board and synthetic tags. AzimutPrint employs 90 people and is located in Yaroslavl city, an industrial region North-East from Moscow.
