Benson and parent to talk carton developments

UK folding carton specialist Benson Group and parent company Graphic Packaging International are to use the Packaging Innovations London show to update the market on their latest developments in carton packaging, including microwaveable and ovenable types.

BensonBenson Group will also be showing off further expansions to its food-to-go range, Benson Delilicious, at Packaging Innovations London

Packaging Innovations London, taking place on September 30 and October 1, will feature a new Benson Group exhibition stand, allowing show visitors to speak directly to the company’s pack design experts as well as gaining a deeper understanding of its production expertise.

On show will also be microwaveable packs, the latest addition to the Benson Group range of packaging products. To demonstrate the product at the show, Benson Group will be serving breakfast, in the form of bacon cooked in its packaging, on both days.

On the second day of the show, October 1, an expert from Graphic Packaging International will be on hand to discuss packaging products suitable for cooking, including both microwaveable and ovenable cartons.

Graphic Packaging International acquired Benson Group this year.

Benson Group will also be showing off further expansions to its food-to-go range, Benson Delilicious, launched at the Packaging Innovations event that took place at the NEC in Birmingham during February.

This range now includes packaging designs suited for meals at any time of the day. The whole range is produced in conjunction using the Benson Verso reverse printing production process and cooking technologies from Graphic Packaging International.

Other cartons from Benson Group to be on show include the award-nominated packaging created by the company’s Medica Packaging team for the Baylis & Harding Great Body Firming Cream product, and the recently released luxury Benson Panoramic pack.

Benson Panoramic is a 360-degree viewable pack that allows premium products to be viewed from any angle, creating the ideal luxury carton for high-end food, spirit and personal care gift packaging.
