Derprosa awarded SoFT TOUcH patent
Derprosa, the graphic arts brand of the Taghleef Industries Group, has been granted a European patent for the SoFT TOUcH film, which is part of its effort to ‘provide a global response in an increasingly competitive world’.
SoFT TOUcH is the result of ‘uncountable hours of research and development’ according to Derprosa, to create a unique and exclusive reference product.
The European Patent Office European patent grants Derprosa exclusive rights to manufacture, use and distribute this category of films in the European market.
In addition, Derprosa is soon to double its production capacity with a new line at its facility.
Derprosa Films, a Spanish supplier of flexible films for the packaging industry and graphic arts applications, was acquired by Taghleef Industries, a global biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP) producer, in spring 2014.
