DigiFlex sells 50th unit
Computer-to-plate (CtP) specialist DigiFlex has sold its 50th unit within a year of commercially launching its system.
DigiFlex's unique bi-component ink technology and flatbed inkjet system allows the production of high-quality plates using standard analog plate materials. The DigiFlex inkjet-based CtP system is applicable for flexographic, letterpress, dry-offset and rotary silk screen printing.
The company said Labelexpo Europe 2013 was a very busy year, with more than 100 visitors a day to its stand.
DigiFlex ran live demos of the FlexoJet 1725, the 17 x 25in format device, which was first introduced at Drupa in May 2012.
This strong exhibition response has now been augmented by the sale of its 50th unit within a year of starting commercial sales.
Hezy Rotman, chief executive officer of DigiFlex, said: ‘We would like to thank our growing number of satisfied customers and to our distribution channels for their great trust and commitment.’
