EFTA-Benelux presents inaugural awards

EFTA-Benelux is an association for companies – and their suppliers – in the Benelux countries that specialize in flexo printing. Interested individuals and institutions can also become members. EFTA-Benelux has approximately 90 members.

Six awards were presented covering different materials and widths. ‘Flexo printing on foil (narrow)’ was presented to J. Max. Aarts, ‘Flexo printing on foil (medium)’ went to Bastin-Pack and ‘Flexo printing on foil (wide)’ was won by Kivo Plastic Packaging. J. Max. Aarts picked up a second award in the ‘Flexo printing on paper (small)’ category, with Felco taking home the ‘Flexo printing on paper (wide)’ award. The winner of the ‘Corrugated post-print (coated)’ category was VPK Packaging Group. A seventh category, ‘Technical innovation (printers)’, was won by Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Harlingen.

The first EFTA-Benelux Flexo Awards were presented on November 26 at the Hilton Hotel in Antwerp. The EFTA-Benelux Flexo Award competition is to be a biennial event. The winners of the 2015 edition are automatically nominated for the first European Flexo Award competition, which is being organized by FTA Europe in 2016.
