Finat to mark 60th anniversary

Industry association Finat is to mark its 60th anniversary later this year, following a year of events and activities to support the label and sleeve markets.

Founded in Paris in 1958 with headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands, Finat is a worldwide association for manufacturers of self-adhesive labels, and related products and services.

The association’s 60th anniversary celebrations are scheduled for November

Other Finat events scheduled for 2018 include:

  • Technical Seminar 2018, taking place in Barcelona, Spain on March 7-9;
  • European Label Forum in Dublin, Ireland on June 6-8; and
  • Global Young Managers’ Congress 2018 in Bucharest, Romania on September 5-7.

Throughout the year, Finat will also host a program of free-to-attend webinars for members, focused on technical and recycling matters. Scheduled subjects include intelligent packaging, self-adhesive label dispensing and RecyClass, a recyclability tool for plastic packaging offered by Plastic Recyclers Europe.
