Flint Group opens GCC for packaging inks in Poland

Flint Group has inaugurated its new Global Colour Centre (GCC) in Lodz, Poland, offering support to all four of its packaging business segments.

GCC features a demo center, customer academy, 24/7 color matching service and digital color management, supporting all four of Flint Group’s packaging business segments – Paper & Board, Flexible Packaging, Sheetfed and Narrow Web. All are served under the same roof with the same processes, communicating globally.

Flint Group said digital color communication will become the norm in the future, with Kim Melander, vice president of EMEA sales and global strategy, Paper & Board, Flint Group, describing the opening of GCC as a ‘milestone’ and, ‘a clear testament of our commitment to support customers around the globe with innovative, high quality color solutions.
