Graphic Packaging makes fleet investment

Graphic Packaging has invested 480,000 GBP (739,000 USD) in new vehicles to support outbound logistics from its UK sites.

A new 18 tonne rigid truck will increase its carrying capacity to 18 pallets, with minimal additional operational costs. Five traction units will also be added to the company’s UK fleet.

Ian Widdowson, group warehouse and distribution manager at Graphic Packaging, said: ‘This investment helps increase our delivery capacity, improving our customer service. Our lorries are a great form of advertising of our brand in the UK. We are proud to be able to add to our fleet with these new vehicles.’

Graphic Packaging is a printed folding carton supplier, producing packaging products for the food and beverage retail industry for a wide range of UK and European customers. It was recently highly commended by Premier Foods for its work on Halloween and Christmas packaging for Cadbury Mini Rolls.
