KBA is to unveil its new digital inkjet press next week

KBA said the RotaJET L Series is ideal for segments such as the book market, direct mail, magazines, newspapers, packaging and other industrial printing markets.

‘Our engineers have answered the needs of our customers,’ said Mark Hischar, president and chief executive officer of KBA North America. ‘The new RotaJET L Series represents the ultimate high-end system in high-volume inkjet printing.

‘The high-performance RotaJET can be optimally configured to suit the respective market and industry environment due to its modular design that can be retrofitted with future print head generations. This gives users of the new RotaJET platform a huge advantage allowing them to react quickly and economically to changing market conditions and customer demands.’

Oliver Baar, KBA project manager for business development of digital web presses, will introduce the press as part of KBA North America’s press conference during Graph Expo on September 29.

In addition, Hischar, Soren Larsen (senior vice-president of sheet-fed sales of KBA North America) and Eric Frank (vice-president of marketing and product management of KBA North America) will address topics such as innovations in sheet-fed packaging, trends in the industry and KBA’s position in the large format market.

They will also touch on KBA’s growth into new markets, such as flexible packaging through the acquisition of Flexotecnica last year. KBA- Flexotecnica recently sold its first Evo XDs press into Germany.
