Labelexpo, Finat mark 25 years of partnership

Labelexpo Global Series and Finat will make 25 years of partnership at Labelexpo Europe 2017, taking place September 25-28 in Brussels, Belgium.

Finat managing director Jules Lejeune

Finat and former Labelexpo owner Labelex/Cowise Group signed their first agreement in the early 1990s. Labelexpo Global Series, now owned by Tarsus, Labels & Labeling’s parent company also, has since forged relationships with associations around the world, including TLMI for Labelexpo Americas, LMAI for Labelexpo India and PEIAC for Labelexpo Asia.

This year’s Labelexpo Europe is on track to be the biggest in the show’s history, with nine halls housing over 650 exhibitors – 100-plus of which are new – showcasing developments for the label and package printing market. Labelexpo Europe 2017 will also play host to the latest Label Industry Global Awards presentation dinner, where Professor Tan Junqiao will receive his R. Stanton Avery Lifetime Achievement Award.

The joint Labelexpo Advisory Board has served as a mechanism to allow both the show and Finat to reflect the changing nature of the industry, and has been expanded to represent a wider cross-section of industry leaders.

Finat managing director Jules Lejeune commented: ‘Our information and support platform is continuously expanding in this fast-moving technology and business arena. We very much value our partnership with Tarsus and Labelexpo, in the Labelexpo Advisory Board and in all-round collaborative activities.

‘It delivers real added value, and – as it has been for the last 25 years – is a key enabler in keeping our members at the leading edge of the label industry.’
