Landa names new CEO

Landa Group has appointed Yishai Amir as CEO of Landa Corporation and a member of its board of directors as the company looks to grow its presence in the print industry.

Amir has more than 20 years of experience in the digital print industry, having held senior positions with HP

Amir has also been named as group vice chairman. Benny Landa, founder of the Landa Group, is to continue as its active chairman.

Amir has more than 20 years of experience in the digital print industry, having held senior positions with HP, most recently serving as vice president and general manager of its Graphics Solutions business in the Americas. He has previously held a similar role for the HP Indigo and inkjet business unit, as well as serving as director of worldwide strategic marketing for HP Indigo.

‘By joining Landa I feel as if I am returning home,’ he said. ‘I started my career with Benny Landa 21 ago at Indigo. I greatly appreciate the incredible opportunity to again work with him and the rest of the Landa team.

‘I look forward to helping grow the business and building one of the industry’s great companies.’

Amir’s appointment follows that of Nachum Korman as vice president and general manager of Landa Digital Printing in North America.
