MacDermid seeks to strengthen its presence in the tag and label market

MacDermid Graphics Solutions is a specialist in the manufacturing and marketing of flexographic printing plates used in the packaging industry. It is a division of MacDermid Performance Solutions, a global specialty chemicals company serving the electronics, industrial, offshore and printing industries.

At Labelexpo Americas 2016, the company will present the latest products from its LUX technology platform, including ITP M, and its Lava NW thermal plate processing system. Lava NW is specifically suited to the tag and label industry with the footprint of the equipment much smaller and faster, compared to solvent processing.

‘Because we are constantly innovating, we are looking forward to exhibiting the latest technology solutions from MacDermid,’ explained Ryan Vest, global director of innovation at MacDermid Graphic Solutions.

Patrick Mullaney, North America business director at MacDermid Graphics Solutions, stated: ‘The tag and label market is an integral and essential part of MacDermid’s growth strategy and we will be investing heavily into furthering our presence with technology and resources.’

Labelexpo Americas 2016 takes place September 13-15 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
