Mark Andy has hosted events in Guadalajara and Monterrey, Mexico to conclude its 2017 Digital One roadshow series, with digital press orders confirmed at the events.

Hosted with the support of partner ACS, the roadshow events in Monterrey and Guadalajara in early December welcomed more than 65 converters and printers to see live demonstrations of the press and ask specific technical questions.

John Vigna, sales manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at Mark Andy, said: ‘These events have enabled converters to witness first-hand Digital One’s capabilities and how this machine can help their companies to be a one-stop-shop for customers.’

Mark Andy identified that converters in Mexico are seeing increased demands for short-run work and shorter lead times. End users adopting just-in-time (JIT) inventory strategies have forced today’s label providers to increase efficiency and decrease waste.

Mark Andy noted that the roadshow series was staged to bring the technology to label converters who are unable to step away from busy production schedules.

Coinciding with the roadshow, converters in Mexico have taken the decision to invest in Mark Andy Digital One presses.

Mark Andy plans to host further roadshow events in 2018.
