Monotech unveils Jetsci VSRI at Labelexpo India 2014
Monotech Systems has launched its Jetsci VSRI digital converting system for complete track and trace and anti-counterfeiting applications, which has been manufactured in-house by the company.
T P Jain, Monotech Systems director, said: ‘We have installed 15-plus of inkjet VDP monochrome machine up to now. We are looking at installing at least five more in the current fiscal.’
Jetsci VSRI is a UV inkjet printing machine for variable data and incorporates a slitter rewinder and 100 percent inspection and verification camera. The machine was demonstrated running at speeds up to 100m/min in roll-to-roll format. It can print on substrates up to 300gsm.
Jain said: ‘This machine is being used for track and trace solutions and variable data printing mainly by security printers.’
The company also exported one Jetsci VSRI to Africa this month. Monotech Systems is looking at the Middle East and Africa as growing markets.
Jimit Mittal, general manager for industrial inkjet printing solutions at Monotech Systems, said: ‘This machine helps fight counterfeiters, which is becoming a difficult task for brand owners.’
Monotech Systems also launched its Jetsci SLR label slitter rewinder and low cost Jetsci RL series, an inkjet VDP, during the show.
Further, Monotech Systems represented EFI Jetrion, Scodix, Konica Minolta digital printer, Highcon and Color Logic at Labelexpo India 2014.
