Omet confirms first iFlex sale in South Africa

Durban-based Klint Scales Group confirmed the order on the stand of Presstec, Omet’s agent in South Africa, at Propak, ‘the largest packaging, food processing, plastics, printing and labeling exhibition on the African continent’. This will be Klint Scales Group’s second Omet press after an XFlex X4 acquired in 2013. It will be first iFlex label press installation in South Africa.

iFlex was unveiled last year and officially launched at Labelexpo Europe 2015. iFlex is an ‘entry-level’ narrow web UV flexo press dedicated to efficient PS label production. It is a gear-driven machine with a new way of pre-registering the plate using a laser beam.
