Pixartprinting partners with Digital Wine Communications Conference

DWCC was first held in 2008, with the aim of creating a network of wine communicators across the globe to spread information, broaden the culture of wine, improve industry standards and, above all else, create a physical space to communicate and share ideas.

This is the 7^th annual DWCC, with the theme for the 2014 event being ‘Wine in Context’.

DWCC 2014 focuses on providing an updated overview of the technological tools and strategies available for online wine communication. This year’s three-day DWCC event brings together digital communicators and the world of wine, with a content-rich agenda designed to attract wine industry professionals who are present through digital media and to allow participants to combine technical information with a wine tasting networking event.

Web-to-print specialist Pixartprinting has an online catalog featuring items for wine producers, including customizable labels and more than 100 available combinations of different shapes and sizes of packaging.

Pixartprinting sales and marketing director Andrea Pizzola said: ‘We had the opportunity to meet a delegation of Italian wine bloggers who presented us with DWCC. We were immediately captivated by this absolutely unique initiative that brings together the world of wine and the digital world.

‘We found this combination very interesting, as it is perfectly in line with our idea of making available online printing services to operators in the wine industry. Our participation in DWCC will allow us to better understand their needs and wishes.’

DWCC 2014 takes place at Montreux Music & Convention Centre in Montreux, Switzerland.
