Toyo/Arets launch new Ink

Kotaro Yoshida, the new chief executive officer of Toyo Ink and Toyo Ink India, and Luc Dehandshutter, global manager at Arets Graphics Belgium, together launched the new Steraflex series of UV flexo inks at Labelexpo India 2014.

The ink has been developed to exhibit high color strength and low viscosity at high curing speeds.

Arets Graphics, a prominent manufacturer of UV inks and varnishes, was taken over by Toyo Ink Group, Japan, last year.

The decision was taken to change the name of Arets Graphics to Toyo Ink Arets from January 2015.

As a result, the name of the Indian subsidiary will be changed to Toyo Ink Arets India Private Limited.

Yoshida said: ‘I hope to expand our business in India.’
