Western Shield Label acquires Northern Cal Labels

Western Shield Label, under the name Shield Acquisitions, LLC, has acquired Northern Cal Labels, with both businesses located in the greater Los Angeles, California area.

Effective immediately, Northern Cal Labels will do business under the Western Shield name from its 27,000 sq ft facility in Compton, California.

Western Shield specializes in expanded content labels, instant redeemable coupons and ten color work while Northern Cal has focused on prime labels, particularly in the automotive, industrial, and food segments. With the addition of Northern Cal Label’s established customer base and assets, Western Shield further increases its foothold in the Southern California market and now has opportunities to increase share in the automotive market and reinforce their already strong position in the food market.
