Amtech launches cloud ERP and track and trace

Amtech Software has announced three simultaneous enhancements to Label Traxx, its ERP platform for label, flexible packaging and shrink converters, at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago at booth 6117: cloud delivery, a new analytics platform and a Track and Trace module for material traceability from raw roll to shipped pallet.

Label Traxx on the Cloud moves the on-premise ERP to a browser-based platform, with Amtech running technical administration, backup, failover and cyber defense rather than the converter. Existing users migrate through automatic routines rather than a customer-staffed project, with functions, navigation and fields unchanged from the on-premise version. A limited cloud starter edition opens to converters in November 2026, with wider rollout in early 2027.

Amtech Visual Analytics connects to the Label Traxx data warehouse and arrives with pre-configured dashboards for financial and operational performance, allowing teams to drill from aggregate trends to root cause analysis. Users can schedule and distribute reports in Excel and PDF format and build custom views, with Amtech adding dashboards and reports over time.

The Track and Trace module extends roll control through the plant, recording length, width, number across, location, parent material, lineal feet used, slitting lane, press and operator, then labeling finished rolls with their parentage and serializing cartons and pallets against a shipping manifest. The result enables a converter to trace a defect to its source roll and forward to every roll, order and shipment that source material touched.

'Label Traxx has always told a converter what a job costs,' said Grant Emison, head of labels products at Amtech Software. 'What customers keep asking is the rest: Where's that job right now? How's the business really doing this month? And why, in 2026, is there still a server in a closet somebody must nurse through upgrades? Three questions. Three releases. That's the announcement.'

'An estimator who has used Label Traxx for years opens it in a browser and gets to work,' said Danna Nelson, senior vice president of product at Amtech Software. 'We did the hard engineering specifically so that nothing about their day changes except where it runs.'

'Nobody buys an ERP because they want to run a server,' Emison added. 'With Label Traxx on the Cloud, label converters can stop maintaining servers and focus on running their business.'
