FSEA brings embellishment track to Loupe Americas

The Foil and Specialty Effects Association has announced a dedicated embellishment morning track at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago, running on September 16 from 8:00 to 10:00 am in Room 12/13 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

The Rise and Shine Embellishment Sessions: Powered by Amplify Print track covers roll-to-roll label and folding carton embellishment across four sessions. A panel discussion on digital inkjet embellishment technologies for roll-to-roll applications features Michael DeBard of Cartes, Michael Aumann of Kurz and Michael Cox of Konica Minolta, covering in-line and off-line opportunities and future developments. A second panel on hot and cold foil for roll-to-roll applications brings together Ross Hutchison of Universal Engraving, David Bales of Univacco Technology and Gary Bibler of K Laser Technology to compare the two processes and discuss new technologies.

A third session addresses folding carton growth opportunities in roll-to-roll flexographic production, with Brett Stow of Absolute Printing Equipment Services and Ben Luly of Mark Andy covering foil and embellishment technologies for both in-line and off-line applications and in-house folding and gluing options. The final session, presented by Tim Cain of Breit Technology and Dan Spah of Commerce Label, covers cast and cure embellishment technology for labels, cartons and flexible packaging, including ultra-high gloss, matte texture and holographic effects.
