Letra Graphix invests in Gallus Five

The converter, which signed the deal at Loupe India 2026, becomes the first in Asia to invest in the machine.

Ahmedabad, India-based converter Letra Graphix has signed a deal for a Gallus Five hybrid digital press, becoming the first in Asia to acquire one at Loupe India 2026. The announcement was made on the exhibition floor, featuring senior executives from Gallus, Heidelberg and the Letra Graphix team, led by director Sahil Shah.

The machine was unveiled globally at Labelexpo in Barcelona in September 2025. It integrates high-speed digital inkjet printing with conventional printing and in-line finishing modules into a single production workflow. Designed for versatility, the hybrid system enables converters to execute short runs, variable-data applications, security features and value-added decorative embellishments efficiently.

This major acquisition marks Letra Graphix’s second investment in a Gallus hybrid digital press, underscoring the company’s strategic push toward advanced smart labeling, enhanced decoration capabilities and premium label and packaging production.
