Primera invests in Zonten ZTR-450

Surat-based converter Primera System has finalized an order for a Zonten ZTR-450 triple-servo, 8-color in-line flexo press at Loupe India 2026. The company will install the machine at its Surat manufacturing plant to support its ongoing expansion.

The transaction marks a continued partnership with S Kumar – Zonten in India. Having operated a Zonten stack-type flexo press for several years, Primera System selected the ZTR-450 platform following a detailed technical evaluation of leading flexographic press manufacturers in the market.

Primera System operates as a joint venture between pressure-sensitive label producers Label Vista and Primera System. The addition of the 8-color ZTR-450 line is designed to scale output across high-value packaging segments, including shrink sleeves, small pouches, high-definition multi-color labels, in-mold labeling (IML) and specialized technical applications.
