Wikoff introduces new water-based inks at Loupe
The company will also showcase UV-LED inks, bolt-on digital imaging technology and Asahi technology.
At booth 811 at Loupe Americas 2026, Wikoff will introduce its new ThermaPrint water-
based flexographic ink platform. The company will also showcase its Photoflex Dual Cure UV-LED inks, Ascella UV-LED digital inkjet inks, bolt-on digital imaging technology and advanced Asahi flexographic plate and processing technologies.
Wikoff's Loupe presence is built around helping converters turn technology into measurable production and growth opportunities. Commercial and technical experts from Wikoff's label, digital, graphics and technical solutions teams will be available to discuss water-based and UV-LED inks, profitable digital applications, flexographic prepress optimization and pressroom performance. Product samples and application examples will support one-on-one conversations tailored to each converter's production goals.
A highlight of Wikoff's expanded label offering at Loupe will be its partnership with Asahi Photoproducts, bringing flexographic plate and processing technologies together with Wikoff's ink, digital and technical expertise. The Asahi
AWP-2530AA water-wash plate processing system will be on display in Booth 811, with representatives from Wikoff Graphics and Asahi Photoproducts on-site to walk visitors through the system, explain water-wash workflows and discuss opportunities to improve plate quality, consistency, operational efficiency and sustainability.
Making its Loupe Americas debut, ThermaPrint is Wikoff's next-generation water-based flexographic ink platform developed in close collaboration with label converters. Engineered for direct thermal and thermal transfer label
applications, the platform addresses growing demand for durable, high-speed printing while delivering the consistent press performance converters expect.
Wikoff’s Photoflex Dual Cure UV-LED flexographic ink system is engineered for both conventional UV and common LED curing technologies, providing label converters greater flexibility as they transition to LED curing without the need to maintain separate ink platforms.
The company's Ascella UV-LED inkjet inks are engineered for coated papers, films, RFID materials and synthetic label stocks with compatibility across major piezo printheads from suppliers including Ricoh, Kyocera and Konica Minolta.
Additionally, Wikoff Digital has partnered with leading hardware integrators to provide label converters with a flexible pathway to add industrial inkjet capabilities to existing flexographic, offset and gravure presses. Visitors to Booth 811 can meet with Wikoff Digital experts to explore how bolt-on imaging can add profitable digital production jobs, including variable data printing, coding, serialization, authentication and product security, without replacing existing press assets.
Wikoff Graphics will feature Asahi’s AFP-REVO HF solvent-process and AWP-CLFQ water-washable plate technologies, designed to simplify platemaking, reduce chemical use and deliver consistent, high-quality results. Powered by Asahi’s CleanPrint technology, AFP-REVO HF supports a cleaner, more efficient solvent workflow, while AWP-CLFQ combines water-wash processing with high-definition, pixel-precise imaging for enhanced print density and consistency.
'The label market continues to evolve rapidly as converters balance productivity, sustainability and digital transformation,' said Brandon Devis, vice president of adjacent markets and commercial services. 'At Loupe, we are bringing together ink, digital, prepress and technical expertise in one booth so converters can have meaningful conversations about how to implement technology in their operations. Together with Asahi Photoproducts, our teams can help customers identify practical solutions that improve print quality and efficiency while opening new opportunities for profitable growth.'
