BW Packaging unifies three divisions into single organization
Restructuring aims to deliver integrated packaging systems and enhanced customer support.

BW Packaging has integrated its BW Filling & Closing, BW Flexible Systems and BW Integrated Systems divisions into a single organization, effective immediately, transitioning from three business units to one focused, product line-oriented business.
The restructuring brings together the company's 2,000-plus team members globally, strengthening its ability to design, deliver and support fully integrated packaging lines and provide lifetime aftermarket care for customers worldwide.
'We couldn't be more excited about what this transformation means for our team members, customers and industry partners,' comments Rachana Creeth, president of BW Packaging. 'In addition to strengthening collaboration among our team members globally, the single BW Packaging structure positions us to solve our customers' most complex challenges through integrated packaging systems while enabling us to deliver on our core Barry-Wehmiller values.'
The unified structure enhances BW Packaging's ability to deliver packaging systems across its core markets and leverage its aligned team to provide greater responsiveness and services to customers around the world.
'Our collective expertise and shared commitment mean customers can expect more agile support and forward-thinking systems,' adds Denning Saum, chief product and marketing officer at BW Packaging. 'No matter where they are, we're dedicated to providing an easy, elevated experience for every customer we serve.'
Current contracts and purchase orders will remain in effect without disruption, and transactions with all BW Packaging entities will remain unchanged. Any future organizational or legal entity changes that may impact customers and suppliers will be communicated in advance.
'Our customers can feel confident that their current agreements and daily operations will continue seamlessly as we move forward,' notes Matt Venezia, chief commercial officer at BW Packaging. 'Looking ahead, our priority is to keep our partners informed every step of the way, making transitions as smooth and predictable as possible.'
BW Packaging's senior leadership team includes Creeth, Saum, Venezia, Pete Carlson as chief operating officer, Eric Collier as chief automation and integration officer, Heath Eckert as chief finance and administration officer, Geoff Nykin as chief strategy and enablement officer and Greg Wolf as chief strategic initiatives officer. Since announcing this transformation internally to team members in June, the senior leadership team has appointed over 150 team members to leadership positions.
