Dataline acquires Italian print ERP firm VG7
Belgian software group enters Italian market with cloud-native print management platform.
Dataline has acquired VG7, an Italian developer of cloud-native print ERP software, establishing its first structural presence in Italy and adding a platform used by more than 300 graphic companies to its portfolio.
VG7's ERP, to be positioned internationally as VG Seven, was developed specifically for print, sign and large-format printing companies, combining administration, production and online sales management within a single cloud environment. The platform is distinguished by its modern interface, described by Dataline as exceptional in a sector where ERP software is typically complex and technical.
The acquisition brings more than 20 Italian specialists into Dataline, which is currently active in 28 European countries. The company plans to accelerate the international rollout of VG Seven while also introducing its existing MultiPress, Unik and DigiFlex products to the Italian market through Dataline Italia.
'VG Seven combines in-depth ERP functionality with an attractive user interface. That is exceptional in our sector,' said Dirk Deroo, CEO of Dataline. 'Just as Ferrari and Lamborghini were not made to be driven only in Italy, we also want to roll out VG Seven across the European market.'
'With Dataline, we gain greater European momentum to grow VG Seven internationally,' said Mario Cunsolo, CEO of VG7. 'Their in-depth expertise in the graphic industry and investments in artificial intelligence make Dataline the ideal partner to further expand our technology.'
The acquisition was announced at FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 in Barcelona.
