Multi-Color completes York Label acquisition

Multi-Color Corporation has completed its previously announced acquisition of privately held York Label Group. 

The purchase price for York Label Group is USD $356 million, with approximately $266 million payable in debt assumed, $64 million payable in 2.7 million shares of Multi-Color stock and $26 million in cash, subject to certain post-closing adjustments.  

York Label Group is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, and primarily serves the pressure-sensitive label markets for home and personal care, food and beverage, wine and spirit and healthcare. York has 12 plants across the US, Canada and Chile with approximately 1,200 employees.
