New design company established

Design concept, brand trimmings and logistics company Nilorn Calmon UK has established its own design company as a separate business at its premises in Keighley, West Yorkshire - and appointed a new head of creative design.
With a team of ten, Nilorn Calmon Design is headed up by design director Ian Lepp. Simon Harrup has joined the design team, in the new role as head of creative design, to help establish the company as a full-service design agency and to increase the company's profile in offering innovative design solutions.
Specialists in garment branding, Nilorn Calmon Design provides a wide range from a single label to a complete brand concept with logo, sub brands and branding placement.
The branding can then be supplied and managed by Nilorn's worldwide logistics solution, online web order system, brand protection and brand management products.
‘Nilorn Calmon has been in design business for many years,’ says 34-year-old Simon. ‘Though we have specific expertise in garment branding, we are looking to expand our design offer and market our services to more of our existing and new client base. Now we want to focus on offering a full and comprehensive design service - from initial concepts to finished products - it has a lot of potential.’ Self-employed for four years as a design consultant, Simon has a comprehensive background in commercial graphic design. He has worked in a variety of sectors and knows what is required in both design and material.
‘I want Nilorn Design to be pro-active with design ideas and solutions,’ says Simon. I want us to stretch the limits of what our customers think is possible.’
Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, Nilorn Calmon UK is part of the Nilorn Worldwide group, which has companies in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Portugal, Turkey, India, Sweden, Switzerland and France. The group's headquarters are in Sweden.
