Amica Systems updates inkjet offering

Amica Systems, a developer and manufacturer of industrial inkjet systems, is to introduce a new range of technologies and products at drupa 2016, including the Amica LR54 roll-to-roll narrow web printing system and LPS330 all-in-one full color system.

Amica LR54 is able to print in full color as well as monochrome on textile care labels, self-adhesive labels, lanyards and other materials for a wide range of applications, in UV or with water based inks

Amica LR54 is able to print in full color as well as monochrome on textile care labels, self-adhesive labels, lanyards and other materials for a wide range of applications, in UV or with water based inks. LPS330 can print in multi-pass mode as well as single-pass mode, and allows high print quality at slow speed or to print in high speed mode depending on the requirements and application. The creation of embossed 3D effects with varnish ink is one of many applications attainable with the LPS330.

Amica Systems has also developed NuviINK GUA2, a new family of water-based pigment inks for a variety of industrial applications, and described as ‘ideal for the new digital age of custom and short run printing’.

NuviINK GUA2 can be used to print on glossy and coated paper, plastics, foils, pharmaceutical applications and packaging, as well as textile care labels with the printed text remaining readable even after a number of cycles in a washing machine.

It will present these new systems on the Amica Systems stand at drupa 2016 in hall 6, stand A17.
